Dental care: why is it important?

  • Teeth help us to chew and digest food. They help us to speak and pronounce different sounds clearly.
  • Teeth shape our face.
  • A beautiful and healthy smile fascinates, reassures, inspires, motivates, and makes others smile, too.

Why is dental care sometimes neglected?

  • Research shows that many Lithuanians tend to spend more money on hair care than on oral hygiene.
  • Nearly a half (45%) of Lithuanians insufficiently care of their dental health, and see a dentist only when there is pain.

How to keep your teeth healthy?

Early prevention is the best treatment!

  • First of all, develop the habit of brushing your teeth properly and regularly.
  • Have a dentist check your teeth and don’t delay your visits! The longer you delay, the more your teeth risk deteriorating and the more advanced treatment will be required.

OUR TREATMENT SERVICES

DENTAL AND IMPLANT PROSTHETICS

If most of the hard tooth tissue has been lost, we will restore it by creating an overlay or crown.
This area of dentistry helps to restore lost teeth or dental tissues and to address the teeth alignment issues.

AESTHETIC PROSTHETICS AND FILLING

If you wish to have a charming smile and impeccable looking teeth, please consult our specialists: they will do their best so you can enjoy a great result.

DENTAL TREATMENT

If you have a toothache, noticed a dark spot or have not visited a dentist for a long time, we will treat your teeth so they are healthy and beautiful.

DENTAL IMPLANTATION

If you have lost a tooth, we can restore it by placing a dental implant that looks just like the original natural tooth.

ORAL HYGIENE AND TEETH WHITENING

To prevent gum disease or bad breath, we recommend getting this procedure once or twice a year.

PERIODONTAL TREATMENT

If you have frequent recurrence of gum inflammation (gingivitis), damaged tissues surrounding your teeth (periodontitis) or multiple naked areas below crowns (gingival recessions), you need a consultation and treatment by a doctor specialising in these issues.

WHAT DO YOU THINK THE CONDITION OF YOUR TEETH IS?

  • Oral cavity is inhabited by a wide variety of microorganisms: up to 600 different species (one would find only about 150 species on hands).
  • Inadequate daily oral hygiene and malnutrition cause imbalances in the micro-organisms in the mouth, leading to an increase in disease-causing “bad” micro-organisms, which in turn leads to tooth decay and diseases of the tissues surrounding the teeth, such as gingivitis and periodontitis.

Self-assessment of condition of teeth and gums by people in Lithuania

DID YOU KNOW?

There are no people with identical teeth.

Everybody’s teeth are entirely unique, just like fingerprints. For this reason, everyone needs indvidual advice, personalized treatment and customized preventive measures.

Teeth begin forming before we are even born.

Teeth begin to form at the end of the second month of pregnancy and they appear on the 6th to 12th month of the baby’s life (sometimes earlier).

One third of the tooth is under the gums

and only two-thirds are visible. A preventive visit to the dentist can help prevent damage to both the visible and invisible parts of the tooth.

In Lithuania, 94% of preschool children

have damaged teeth.

In Lithuania and Latvia

only about a quarter (24%) of the population has adequate oral hygiene skills.

The first time I got seen by Rasa was in 2012, which marked my turn into her loyal customer. Rasa is the best professional of her field who always finds time for appointment even without prior arrangement. I do recommend Rasa for those seeking quality and attentiveness.

Darius Paukštis

A highly knowledgeable doctor. Competent, patient, sincere and caring. Maintains a pleasant conversation with adults and children alike. Always kind and ready to help. I recommend her to everyone!

Kristina Mikoliūnienė

Rasa Jasūdienė has been my dentist for 20 years. There was not a single visit that left me less than 100% satisfied with both treatment and positive attitude. In the modern ever-changing world, I can still find what is stable and perfect. She is truly my dentist!

Dr. Ieva Martinaitytė

Dentist Rasa is a very kind person. She always provides detailed but clear explanation as well as good advice on home dental care. I come to her with a smile and without fear, because I know I can trust her.

Neringa Mockevičienė

I am highly satisfied with the service. Top quality and professionalism indeed. I would like to thank oral hygienist Kristina who gave me in-depth presentation of home dental care and answered all my questions. Excellent!

DEDICATION

We are passionate about our work, so every patient is important and welcome here.

RELIABILITY

We will take care of you just as if you were our dearest ones, so you can feel a pleasant vibe and impeccable work ethic right upon arrival. Only you and the specialist treating you will know the details of your care.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF TREATMENT?

At first we will listen to you to find out your needs and expectations . Then we will provide a thorough examination to come up with a treatment plan to be discussed with you.

The treatment is performed once mouth is clean and prepared, so during one of the first visits we often recommend carrying out a professional oral hygiene procedure. The procedures are performed under sedation so you can stay calm and in a good mood before and during the procedure. Teeth are treated, prepared for prosthesis, and any planned surgeries are performed in accordance with the treatment plan.

During the treatment period, we regularly ask you how you feel after the procedures, carefully monitor the post-surgical healing process, and invite you for check-up visits.

At the end of the treatment, we schedule your preventive examination (and we remind about it as time approaches).
